Molí d’Alcanó, part of Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group, maintains the cooperative spirit intact, understood as the total effort of its members and farmers towards offering the highest quality products and services.
Molí d’Alcanó, which has been a part of the Camp d’Alcarràs i Secció de Crèdit SCCL (Fruits de Ponent Group) Cooperative since 2015, belongs to the Les Garrigues Protected Designation of Origin (DOP), meaning that all the oils it produces are extra virgin of a higher category.
El Molí, que forma part de la Cooperativa d’Alcarràs (Grup Fruits de Ponent) des de l’any 2015, forma part de la Denominació d’Origen Protegida (DOP) Les Garrigues, per la qual cosa els olis que produeix són tots verge extra de categoria superior.

OUR HISTORY. A MILESTONE OF COOPERATION
Molí d’Alcanó emerged in 2015 as a result of the merger between Camp d’Alcarràs i Secció de Crèdit SCCL and d’Alcanó Cooperatives, as part of a cooperation aimed at ensuring the viability and sustainability of this infrastructure, as well as that of its partners and families, well into the future. Since then, Camp d’Alcarràs i Secció de Crèdit has renovated and modernised its facilities in Alcanó with the purpose of turning the oil mill into a model of sustainability.
Camp d’Alcarràs and SCCL Credit Section has a social network of around 180 member families. In terms of the olive sector, it is a cooperative with 75 years of history covering multiple agriculture-based business areas: fruits, nuts, cereals and olive oil. Its fundamental focus is the ability to serve its partners and ensure the viability of their businesses in the future.
THE LAND
Previous farming partners have passed down to later generations their love of the land, a land of olive and almond trees, the key crops of the territory. Product quality and excellence are always present at Molí, as well as sustainability, understood as the care of the fields, fruits and the entire production process.
