Yesterday saw the presentation of Kylatt, the Special Selection extra virgin olive oil from Molí d’Alcanó, created in collaboration with Oriol Ivern, chef of the Michelin-star restaurant Hisop in Barcelona. The event, held at the restaurant Ivern runs, was presided over by representatives from Food and Food Quality and brought together some twenty individuals from the oil sector. Attendees at the session got the chance to taste the new creation of the Barcelona chef and Molí d’Alcanó.
Kylatt is an oil obtained before the start of the harvest and comes from the season’s best trees, chosen in the first days of the year on the basis of crop type, altitude, location, etc. The goal of the project is to fuse this Premium Kylatt oil with high cuisine to attract the type of customer interested in products distinguished by their quality and category.
