Its quality is recognised with the bronze medal

The Special Selection extra virgin olive oil Praedium KYLATT, by Molí d’Alcanó (Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group), has won the bronze medal for its quality at the 2021 London International Olive Oil Competitions (LIOOC), an event designed to promote the quality of olive oils around the world among consumers and professionals of the sector.

The contest includes four categories, Quality, Packaging, Health Claim and Infused Olive Oil, in which the different olive oils presented from around the world are distinguished. Praedium KYLATT has been distinguished in the first. To perform the selection of the best oils in this category, the producers present an oil sample anonymously so the jury can perform a blind tasting and make their assessments.

KYLATT represents the union of the best selection of arbequina olives from the orchards of Alcanó, the expertise of the technicians of Molí d’Alcanó, and the passion for gastronomy of Michelin-star chef Oriol Ivern (restaurant Hisop, Barcelona).

Including this one, the Premium oil from Molí d’Alcanó has already obtained three distinctions in its first two years: in Paris, from the Association for the Valorisation of Agricultural Products (AVPA) in 2020, at the Extra Virgin Quality Oil and Les Garrigues Fair in Borges Blanques (2021), and today at the LIOOC in London (2021).
