The prize was presented this Sunday, in the closing ceremony of the fair’s 59th edition, by Teresa Carles, chef and owner of the Healthy Foods group.
The design of Praedium KYLATT, created by the agency OMA of Lleida, features the colour of the Mediterranean and a harmonious drawing. The result reflects personality, character and art, essential characteristics of the product. With the new harvest, the new design of Praedium KYLATT’s bottle, which is more sustainable, has come to light.
Praedium KYLATT is made from early-harvest arbequina olives from specially selected fields, thereby obtaining the Special Selection extra virgin olive oil distinction. The quality of this oil results from the union of different factors: the best olive selection, the mill technicians’ skill, and the passion of the Michelin-star chef Oriol Ivern.
Its name, “Praedium” to be exact, comes from Latin and means “land”, symbolising the Mediterranean universe. Praedium KYLATT has previously been awarded with 4 prizes, now joined by this most recent from the Oil Fair.
