This coming 20, 21 and 22 January will mark the 60th edition of the Les Garrigues Oil Fair in Les Borges Blanques, the olive oil capital. The Fair has spent sixty years helping the rural community and Les Garrigues grow and has become the most important Fair in the olive oil sector.
L’Or de Ponent and KYLATT, of the Fruits de Ponent Cooperative Group, will be present at this sixtieth edition, where over thirty producers will display their new creations at this showcase par excellence.
In addition to the products presented at the stand like every year, a few changes have been made. Today the Oil Fair Award finalists have been released and KYLATT has been nominated as best sweet green fruity oil from large producers. Another novelty this year is that the Fair’s programme will feature, on Saturday at 8 pm, a cooking show hosted by the chefs Oriol Ivern and Jordi Morillo, from the Michelin-starred restaurant Hisop in Barcelona. Live and in person, the two chefs will cook a tapa marinated with none other than our nominated oil: KYLATT.
