The session brought together representatives from various agents involved in the process of manufacturing, producing, marketing and selling the extra virgin olive oil of Molí d’Alcanó, from the miller, Abdul Maarrouf, to the president of the cooperative of Camp d’Alcarràs, Sebastià Escarp. The meeting also included the presence of Josep Joan Florensa, the cooperative’s dried fruit, nuts and oil representative; Josep Presseguer, general manager of Fruits de Ponent; Marc Nart, agronomic manager; Maria Llop, quality manager; Oriol Ivern, lead chef of the Michelin-star restaurant Hisop in Barcelona, gastronomic expert Jordi Millo, and the mayor of the town of Alcanó, Xavier Prunera. A very fruitful session to kick off the new season.
